Bagtraca is a simple system that takes advantage of today's technology.

Your bagtraca label contains a barcode and a unique identity number. Prior to travelling you enter this number and your address details (including your email address and if you travel with one, your cell phone number) into the bagtraca website.

You attach the tags to your luggage and if they go missing the finder can enter this website, and based on your barcode reference number (the only information they need to contact you), they can input their name, contact details and location. The bagtraca system then automatically sends you an email and short text phone message telling you where and who to collect your bags off.
